Ingredients:

  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 1 cup of water

What you ’ ll need from the store cupboard:

  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Place a steamer insert in the Instant Pot and add the water.
  2. Add the asparagus to the steamer insert, then close and lock the lid.
  3. Press the Steam button and set the timer to 2 minutes.
  4. When the timer goes off, do a Quick Release by pressing Cancel and switching the steam valve to “venting”.
  5. When the pot has depressurized, open the lid.
  6. Remove the steamer insert and set the asparagus aside.
  7. Press the Sauté button and add the butter and garlic.
  8. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes then tosses in the lid.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to serve.
